In addition to being able to stock up on some fantastic luxury chocolates, Belgium is also a well-known producer of beer, especially in Brugge. One restaurant offers over 100 types of beer on its menu. As well as chocolate and beer, the Grotemarkt and Vismarkt markets offer a wide array of local foods, wines, and other delicacies.
There are also many local bread stores in Belgium, and the country is known for the diverse types of bread it produces. These include breads of wheat, rye, oats, and more. These breads can be sweetened or not sweetened, salted or unsalted, and come in countless variations.
